ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Extended Reality (XR) opens up new opportunities for innovation in learning by combining Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). This module introduces you to the foundations of XR, its benefits and challenges in education, and its applications within vocational training.
- Unit 1: Definition of Extended Reality

- Unit 2: Immersive technology and Digital Learning
Learn about the benefits and limitations of XR in education, discover examples of platforms and tools, and reflect on how XR can create engaging, safe and interactive learning environments.
- Unit 3: Extended Reality in VET
Explore how XR is being used across vocational education and training, from technical fields to tourism. Understand the technical requirements and teacher competences needed and compare XR-enhanced training with traditional learning methods.
